Franklin Regional Band Fund

In 2012, Franklin Regional Band advocates formed the non-profit “Franklin Regional Band Fund” (FRBF), an IRS code section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity. The Franklin Regional Band Fund is a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation with a specific purpose to engage in activities in support of the Franklin Regional School District Band including the raising of funds. Per IRS regulation, no part of the net earnings of the Band Fund can be used to the benefit of any private individual. Therefore any contributions to the Band Fund can only be used for the general benefit of all students in the band.

The FRBF will provide letters to donors with an EIN number and acknowledging that no goods or services were received in exchange for the donation. Please contact your tax preparer regarding the deductibility of any donations to the FRBF.

Thank you!
